Meet Ben

Being qualified to be a Judge is about much more than a legal resume and some extra-curricular activities.

As important as your education and legal training are, where you came from and what life experiences you bring to the table influence your temperament and views.

Most people don't know that I grew up on a small dairy farm. It wasn't very lucrative.  I remember getting rice and canned goods from the Community Center as a kid. The thing about growing up this way is that I learned the value of hard work. Video games didn't exist. We only had three channels on T.V.  And the next closest kid my age was over a half mile away. We worked and played outside on the farm.

Before going to law school, I had a career in the military. In 2017, I became a father (of twin girls). Nothing will alter a person's perspective more than having kids of their own and watching them grow up.

I am an active youth mentor, sit on the Board of Directors of Legacy Youth Mentoring, am a former Ironman triathlete and ultramarathon trail runner, and the 2021 Georgia State Powerlifting Champion.

I would love your support in May 2024!
